SVP Global Inspection & Engineering Services
Location is negotiable
Responsible for assuring the long term business success of the Global Inspection and Engineering Services (GIES) by proactively serving customers with integrity, quality, and safety. Global duties include designing and executing strategies for business growth, developing financial targets and allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, hiring and training staff, maintaining strong ASME market leadership and monitoring financial activities.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Engineering a plus
15+ years experience with industrial and manufacturing markets
5+ years experience in a service delivery business with inspection services experience a plus
5+ years experience leading a business unit with both commercial relationship and field based customer facing service delivery responsibilities
Significant international experience with at least two of the three major international regions (EMEA, LA, Asia)
Prior experience working in a highly matrixed organization
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to interact and influence at all levels and a proven track record of successful people management in a multinational/multicultural environment
Leadership skills to manage a global service delivery business of several hundred people in over 20 countries
Self-starter showing proactivity and ownership, with ability to define clear strategies establish goals and track progress
Strong commercial skills
Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills are required. Ability to build a strong cohesive team and to coordinate and interact positively with clients, staff and other company departments
Willingness to travel both domestic and international
