Manages the end-to-end system maintenance, production and development of engineering large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial systems including; Genesys Lotus Notes, PeopleSoft Engineering Modules, Vertex(tax), Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft D365, Oracle EPM, SAP BO, SSRS, and other Engineering ERP financial systems as required. Provides technical business and system user functional support such as developing queries, reports and advanced system functions. Works closely with Engineering management and IT to ensure efficient work distribution and service delivery. Ensures maximization of system use and capacity to support current and changing business needs and provide recommendations on the implementation of new/revised operational and/or reporting processes. Supervises staff who is responsible for production system processes including ad hoc maintenance, daily queries, revenue entries and month end close.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years’ experience as a financial systems analyst or similar role.

  • SQL programming experience is required

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent computer/internet aptitude and strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate to both business and technical experts at various levels throughout the organization.

  • Working knowledge of large and mid-size ERP software packages (preferably PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft D365, SAP BO, Oracle EPM, SSRS, and Power BI) and associated report writing and query functionality.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and be adaptive to change.

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work as an effective team member. Strong process orientation, problem solving & troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality.
