Digital Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

Creates, publishes, maintains and promotes website and blog pages using CMS, WordPress, HTML and CSS. Applied knowledge of SEO research and implementation. Assists in creation, implementation and delivery of digital marketing campaigns, including creation of email templates, social media messages, photo and graphic preparation and trackable links. Analyze and report on digital marketing activity. Performs photography and video setup and production assistance as needed. Assists in the maintenance, monitoring and engagement of social channels. Monitors social streams, groups and RSS feeds for content curation, company mentions and engagement opportunities. Create, publish and monitor social messages for targeted audiences and brand perception. Maintains content on digital HSB library resources (CMS). distributes emails, data documents and images to internal colleagues and clients.

Requisition Number:




  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or associated field of study or equivalent work experience

  • At least one year of experience with an agency or corporate communications environment implementing digital marketing communication campaigns for B2C and/or B2B clients

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS)

  • Proficiency with social media publishing and listening tools

  • Proficiency creating digital multimedia for websites and social media (audio/video)

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Analytical, critical and strategic thinking skills

  • Professional character

  • Ability to manage personal time and tasks and contribute to a collaborative team

  • Adaptable to changing priorities, personalities and able to handle multiple assignments concurrently


  • 3+ years experience in B2C or B2B business

  • Insurance industry experience, preferably P-C

  • Experience with Adobe Create Suite, Video and photo setup, capture and editing

  • Functional HTML and CSS skills

  • Functional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills

  • Ability to prioritize, be assertive, and take ownership of assigned tasks and client relationships

  • Self-starter who sees opportunities and takes initiative

  • Problem solving ability including the willingness to ask difficult questions, and propose solutions and alternatives to tasks

  • Multilingual is desired
